1. Get a VA (virtual assistant)
It is never too early to get some support. For just $50-$100 a month you can get significant help that will give you more time and freedom. But even more than the time you gain, you buy yourself a feeling of success, of being a wanted entrepreneur, with associates.
Your VA – dependent on your business and the level you are at, can
-screen e-mails (protecting you from spending too much time writing answers that are repetitive)
-schedule clients
-do research
-edit and send newsletters
-manage social networking….
The opportunities are endless.
Having somebody that supports you in your business, is smart outsourcing. It gives you more time to concentrate on your core strengths and passions. It helps you to focus on creating new ideas, bringing your business to a whole new level. Gotta love that!
Here are some of my outsourcing resources I want to share with you, that save me so much time. These are some of my smart systems I use in my business:
-www.evernote.com (A perfect tool to keep track of notes and ideas – adding pictures, jpegs, word files… It synchronizes between different devices like your home computer, laptop, Iphone…)
-www.dropbox.com (Synchronize files between different computers you use. Work on your new e-book from home, in the internet cafe and at a friend’s place. Possibilities are endless…)
-www.ping.fm to structure your social networking efforts. (Send updates to ALL of your social networking websites with ONE mouseclick. Schedule your updates to reach more people…)
-Use https://my.timedriver.com in connection with google calendar to schedule your appointments online.
3. Structure your day
Again: In order to be successful and have more time doing the tango in the backyard, or playing your tuba, be ruthless with your time!
Here are 3 golden tips to simplify your business:
-Make a list of what there is to do every morning.
-Start with the ugly work, the BIG task FIRST!
-Always handle e-mailing or social networking sites (facebook, youtube or twitter) at the end of your day!
The most valuable traffic is organic search traffic, which means the traffic you get from search engine (Google) searches.
It is most valuable because people who end up on your website have been looking for the exact keywords that you use in your services and products to help your people with.
If you want to get a lot of traffic on your website you want to make sure to do some SEO work and get on the first page of Google, because honestly – do you still keep on searching on page 4 or 5 on Google, when you look for something??
Naaaaahh!
Neither do I! That means that you must aim for being on the first page of Google, to be ahead of your colleagues out there. In this blog post and video I want to share the exact technique I am using to achieve this goal over and over again.
This blog post is actually serving as a test, so you can follow me step-by-step-by-step along the way, and then do the same with your articles and website in general! I want to show you how to list a website on Google.
And not only how to list it on Google, but to list it on page one!
Actually I am using my “3 step Ka Sundance system” to be maximum efficient with this one.
1. Step: Use the Google keyword tool to identify the keywords I want to use!
As I am using English as the language and want to get as many people as possible I chose:
-Location: all countries
- Languages: English
The important setting here is the competition!
Within the keyword tool, make sure that only suggestions with LOW competition are showing up. This will save you time, as you do not want to compete with millions and millions of websites out there.
In the next step I am playing around with the keywords I want to use in my article (or new product idea)
I make sure to try different variations of my search terms, so I get a good overview about what people are actually looking for.
Step 2: Research the competing websites to narrow down possible keywords
In the second step I use those keywords and return back to google.com and type them in using quotation marks around them, like: “How to get on google FIRST page”
By doing this Google shows you how many websites are using this exact search term in their content. With those two steps alone, you can go back and forth to become clear on your keywords. What you are actually looking for right now is to identify keywords that are in high demand through the keyword tool but have just very low competition on the market. This way you will have such an easy way to get on Google’s first page.
After going back and forth with different keywords, I came up with this one here:
So now I know that my search term: How to get on google FIRST page
is searched for 5400 times in a month. With this knowledge I went back to Google and found out that I have 29.300 other websites that are competing with me using these keywords. In the ideal world, you are aiming for not more than 10.000 competing websites to get on page 1 of Google fast. However, I have set myself a challenge here and want to find out if with the SEO tools and even more important the social networking and article submission strategy (I will share in the next blog post more about that), it will be possible to boost this one here to page one as well…

These are still quite some websites to compete against, however, there are some more things to do to get a good ranking. Now it is about researching the websites that show up on page one.
Step 3: Find out how strong your competition in the first 5 positions are
You can use a tool like this one here http://www.google-page-rank-check.com/ to check the page rank of the competing websites. You want to make sure that you are not competing against a high-baller. The page rank of the website you are competing against should not be higher than 2.
This is especially important if you just started your keyword research for a new niche website or product idea. In the ideal world you would have no strong competition against you so you can easily boost your blog/article/website to get a listing on Google.
In order to make this all work a lot now depends on the strategy you use to market your article.
